Uncharted is a series of photographs of abstract & somewhat surreal spaces shot in various parts of Europe & India over the span of a year. Uncharted explores the relationship between individuals and the space we occupy.
Preludes, an extension of the work, is a print-on-demand photobook that takes its rhythm from the three-act structure in western classical music, with recurring motifs. The images, made across parts of Western Europe & India, reflect upon urban living and the idea of an escape into nature, without offering a resolution or an answer for the cycle of routine, repetition and respite as we move through the book between colour and monochromatic images.
