In Today’s News deploys appropriated images from print media, producing humorous and subversive outcomes arising from semiotic interplay. This first volume, called Alpha Males & Women Power exposes the patriarchal structure and gender hierarchies in India. The second volume titled Dance of Democracy alludes to the destabilising of secular values in the country, more recently marked by religious intolerance, surveillance and cultural erasure.
