Show of Hands is a set of two limited edition screen printed works on fabric made during a residency at SHIFT in Ahmedabad, 2024. The work is a site-specific response, extracting the hands from images found in the mass-produced saree catalogs. The visual language borrows from Gujarati letterpress magazines and the layout follows the logic of a single-sheet offset printing plate. The residency was curated by Veeranganakumari Solanki and facilitated by Nimish Shah.
